Release the Tension Your Body Has Been Holding Onto.

Registered massage therapy at Brightpath targets the muscle tension, chronic pain, and stress buildup that gets in the way of feeling like yourself, with treatment plans tailored to your body, your goals, and your schedule.

What Is Massage Therapy?

Massage therapy is the hands-on treatment of the body’s soft tissues–muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue–to relieve pain, reduce tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural ability to heal.

At Brightpath, all massage therapy is provided by Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs), practitioners who are trained, regulated, and licensed in Ontario. That distinction matters because it means your treatment is clinically grounded, covered by most insurance plans, and built around what’s actually going on in your body.

Massage works exceptionally well on its own, and even better as part of an integrated care plan alongside chiropractic care, acupuncture, or naturopathic medicine. Our team communicates across disciplines, which means your massage therapist isn't working in isolation from the rest of your care.

Nicole Scarisoreanu

Nicole's approach to massage therapy is rooted in a belief that most of her patients come to share: that healing is never just physical. With nearly two decades of clinical experience since graduating from Elmcrest College of Applied Sciences in 2006, she has built a practice that blends technical precision with a deeply intuitive sense of what each patient's body needs.

Her training spans a wide range of techniques: deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, manual lymph drainage, hydrotherapy, cupping therapy, joint mobilization, and pregnancy and postpartum massage. She is also certified in the Graston Technique, an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization method that effectively addresses scar tissue and fascial restrictions that conventional massage cannot fully reach.

Outside the clinic, Nicole lives by the principles she brings to her work: meditation, breathwork, yoga, and a whole-foods approach to nutrition. That commitment to the body-mind-spirit connection isn't a philosophy she arrived at recently. It's the lens through which she has always understood healing.

Clinical focus

Postural dysfunction, repetitive strain injuries, whiplash and motor vehicle accident recovery, headaches and migraines, sports injuries, and work-related injuries.

What sets Nicole apart

Her intuitive sense of touch honed from 20 years of experience, combined with her broad technical toolkit, allows her to meet each patient exactly where they are, whether that's acute injury recovery or ongoing stress management.

Kyle Ngo

Kyle's path to massage therapy was shaped by a genuine love of sport, movement, and the science of how the body works. He studied Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University before completing his Massage Therapy diploma at the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, giving him a strong biomechanical foundation that informs everything he does in the treatment room.

What defines Kyle's practice is his focus on root causes. He's not interested in treating the surface of a problem, he takes time to understand what's actually driving an injury or tension pattern, then builds treatment plans designed to address that, not just the symptom. His sessions draw on a combination of soft tissue therapy, medical acupuncture, and tailored homecare, and he makes a point of ensuring every patient leaves not just feeling better, but understanding why, and with the tools to continue their recovery between visits.

Kyle's background in sport and fitness isn't just part of his story; it's what makes him particularly effective with active patients who need a therapist who understands how the body moves under load, and what happens when it's pushed too far.

Clinical focus

Work-related postural dysfunction, repetitive strain, sports injuries, and tension patterns related to an active lifestyle.

What sets Kyle apart

His kinesiology background gives him a detailed understanding of how the body moves, and how it compensates when something isn't working right. Patients leave not just feeling better, but understanding why.

All massage therapists at Brightpath are Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Your First Massage Appointment at Brightpath

1

Before you arrive

No special preparation is needed. Wear comfortable clothing. If you have a specific concern or injury, it helps to note it when booking so we can match you with the right therapist.

2

When you arrive

Your therapist will take a brief health intake to understand what you're dealing with, what you're hoping to get out of the session, and any areas to avoid or focus on. This is a real conversation, not a form to fill out and forget.

3

During treatment

Your therapist will work within your comfort level throughout. Pressure can always be adjusted, never hesitate to speak up. Most patients find the experience deeply relaxing from the first visit.

4

After your treatment

Your therapist may offer guidance on home care: stretches, positioning, or self-care techniques to extend the benefits of your session. If ongoing treatment is recommended, they'll explain why and what a plan could look like.

Our Pricing

  • 45 minutes — from $100
  • 60 minutes — from $120
  • 75 minutes — from $140

Not sure how long to book? A 60-minute session is a good starting point for most first-time patients. If you have a specific injury or multiple areas of concern, 75 or 90 minutes gives your therapist the time to work thoroughly without rushing.

Is massage therapy covered by insurance?

Kyle is an amazing RMT. I've been to many different RMTs, and few are as attentive as he is. Between chronic pain and recurring injuries, I wouldn't be able to hit my fitness goals training for my half marathon, paddle sports, lifting while staying injury-free without him.

Visiting Kyle for RMT quite frequently. Really like the deep tissue massage as someone who engages in heavy workouts and suffers from plantar fasciitis. He's really able to relax and relieve pain Excellent treat for your recovery days.

I highly recommend Dr. Kevin Ho. As a fellow healthcare professional, I was extremely impressed by his professionalism, bedside manner, and genuine commitment to understanding the cause of my sciatica rather than simply treating the symptoms. He was incredibly thorough in his assessment and investigation, took the time to explain his findings, and made me feel confident that I was in excellent hands. Most importantly, it was clear that he genuinely cared about my recovery and getting me back on my feet. Thank you, Dr. Ho, for the exceptional care!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kevin Ho for about four years and can’t recommend him enough. He consistently goes above and beyond - not only providing effective adjustments but also showing helpful exercises and explaining how to support recovery between visits. Earlier this year I came to him with debilitating lower back pain, and the relief I felt starting from the very first session was incredible. After each visit I genuinely felt like a brand new person. He continues to support my recovery with thoughtful care. I also appreciate how thorough he is in coordinating treatment and sharing relevant information with my family doctor. Dr. Ho is knowledgeable, attentive, and truly invested in his patients’ long-term well-being.

I’ve always had a great experience at brightpath, so much so that I’ve referred about 3-4 friends to come here as well for their chiropractic or RMT needs. Dr. Kevin Ho is my go to chiropractor, he also recommends any stretches or movement that I can continue to do at home to remain pain free. Both Nicole and Kyle are great RMTs, and you’ll be both relaxed and pain free in no time. I also love the online booking system that allows me to book easily and also manages payments and reimbursements so I don’t have to do anything administratively from my end. Highly recommend this clinic to all.

I was referred to Dr Ho by a friend and I’ve been going to him for chiro appointments for almost 2 years now. I have been very satisfied with the treatments. Dr Ho is attentive and detail oriented, and his background in both western and eastern medicine makes the sessions informative and effective. I appreciate that he listens to my concerns and treats accordingly, and that while he advises treatments, he doesn’t push anything unnecessary. Will continue to go to him for chiro help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a doctor's referral to book a massage?

No referral is required. You can book directly online or by phone. However, if you plan to submit to insurance, check whether your plan requires a prescription as some do.

How often should I come in for massage?

That depends on your goals and what you're dealing with. For acute issues, we often recommend more frequent visits at the start, tapering as you improve. For maintenance and stress management, many patients find monthly sessions work well. Your therapist will give you a personalized recommendation after your first visit.

What should I wear?

You'll be appropriately draped throughout your session, only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Most patients undress to their comfort level. There's no right or wrong answer.

Can I combine massage with chiropractic or other services in the same visit?

Yes, and we often recommend it. Many patients see a chiropractor and a massage therapist in the same visit as the two treatments complement each other well. Let us know your goals when booking and we'll help structure your time.

Is massage therapy safe during pregnancy?

Yes, when performed by a therapist trained in prenatal care. All of our RMTs are trained to work safely with pregnant patients. Please let us know you're pregnant when booking.

What if I have a massage if I’ve had a recent injury?

Let us know when booking. Our therapists are trained to adapt treatment based on your health history and will discuss any precautions with you before your session begins.
