Dr. Kevin Ho
Chiropractor & Clinic Director
Dr. Kevin Ho has always had a passion for people’s health and wellbeing. He chose to start his healthcare career as a Registered Nurse in Alberta. Eventually, an opportunity came to work at the Intensive Care Unit with the infamous Sickkids Hospital here in Toronto. However, after suffering from repetitive low back pain, Dr. Ho sought relief from a Chiropractor. Dr. Ho experienced a remarkable recovery from his injury and it led to Dr. Ho’s interest in the field of Chiropractic.
In 2006, Dr. Ho graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and began his private practice in 2009 in midtown Toronto. Dr. Ho also had the privilege of joining the Canadian Centre for Integrative Medicine in 2006 working with well respected Chronic Pain Specialist Dr. Gordon Ko. This experience introduced Dr. Ho to the much broader world of chronic pain medicine with exposure into patients with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue syndrome and Neuropathic conditions. From this experience, Dr. Ho saw the strength of a diverse healthcare team working together and its positive impact it had on patient’s health. This led to Dr. Ho’s decision to start Brightpath Health & Wellness and to build a integrative healthcare team in North York, helping patients with strategies to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Gayamali Karunaratna
Naturopathic Doctor & Birth Doula
Dr. Gayamali’s interest in medicine began at a young age when she would observe her Grandfather, who was a traditional Ayurvedic Doctor prepare herbal tinctures in his apothecary. In her later years, while working at a medical clinic, she became cognizant of the fact that there was more to health than just the physical aspect, inspiring her on a journey in search of a healthcare model that addressed the integral mind-body connection. This prompted her to explore Naturopathic Medicine; whose guiding principles are founded on recognizing the body’s inherent ability to heal itself and identifying and treating the root cause of disease, which she found to fit her philosophy of health. Her passion to help those in need also led her to work as a Camp Counsellor with Autism Ontario Canada (AOK), which further solidified her desire to pursue a career in healthcare.
Dr. Gayamali is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor who completed her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Prior to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto and continued on to pursue a Master of Education degree at the University of Windsor.
Having obtained a Master’s in Education, Dr. Gayamali’s goal is not only to treat but to educate and empower individuals to achieve their optimal health goals, while promoting disease prevention. Her practice focuses on treating individuals with chronic lifestyle diseases including high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hormonal imbalances, and mental and emotional conditions such as anxiety and depression.
