We recognize that the body doesn’t work separately as different systems instead the body is interconnected. We function as a team because your body functions as a team. This approach allows us to ask why? Why does a 40-year-old already have arthritis? Can my mood & energy be related to what I eat? Why are my muscles tight all the time? Why am I so stiff and tired when I get up in the morning? If you have asked questions like this, you’ve come to the right place.

What is Integrative Health?

What is your health concern today? Perhaps you’re dealing with pain or digestion issues or fatigue? You may have even tried medications or a certain therapy to relieve the symptom. Unfortunately, many of you have found that a single solution provides only temporary relief. If you have experienced this, you are not alone and this is why we built our clinic on an integrative health model.

Integrative Health is caring for your health in a manner that considers and often combines approaches from various health disciplines. The body is an interconnected structure with multiple systems working in complement with one another. Similarly, here at Brightpath, we strive to have clinicians and therapists that work in conjunction with each other. Our fundamental approach considers structural, neurological, physiological and emotional factors related to your health concerns. Our goal is to seek and find the cause(s) of your health concern and offer you strategies and solutions that are tailored for your needs. We ensure that you receive our ongoing support as your health partners and provide you with personalized health solutions. We believe you will feel stronger, more energetic, less pain and be ready to handle all that your life has to offer.

How Integrative Health can help?

Patient Case Study

A gentleman in his mid-20s seeking chiropractic care for ongoing neck, mid back and knee pain. Despite an adequate course of chiropractic treatments, his symptoms would only improve temporarily. After further discussion, X-Rays were requested. While the X-Rays were being completed at the lab, this gentleman said his pain symptoms intensified and he eventually fainted. After further inquiry, it appeared his pain and his fainting episode stems back from previous psychological trauma he suffered in his youth with signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He was subsequently referred for consultation & treatment with a mental health professional. What seemed like pain that originated from his musculoskeletal system actually started from psychological trauma and he was directed to the appropriate form of care.

Patient Case Study

A retired woman in her early 70s sought consultation and treatment for low back pain. She also described of some numbness and cramping sensations in her lower legs below the knee. Her low back pain started to improve with chiropractic care but her leg symptoms did not. After reviewing her dietary habits, it was found that her leg cramps & numbness could be improved with dietary changes. For breakfast, she was advised to avoid high-glycemic foods like cereals and carbohydrates made from white flour. Instead she was advised select foods with a higher protein content and low-glycemic carbohydrates. After 3-4 weeks, she reported that her leg cramps & numbness had totally subsided.
