Brightpath Health & Wellness is so pleased to announce that Our Clinic will Re-Open on Wednesday June 3rd, 2020!  Both Chiropractic therapy and Naturopathic Medicine will resume in-person appointments while  Virtual Consultations will still be available.

While we are all adapting to the rapidly changing ‘new normal’, we’ve implemented numerous changes at the clinic so we can serve you while keeping you safe.   We know many of you have waited a long time for health services to resume so let’s take a look at what’s new and what you can expect when you come for an appointment.

What do I Need To Know Before I Come?

Pre-Screening

In compliance with recommendations from Ontario Public Health, every patient will complete a mandatory COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire.  Within 24 hours of your appointment, you will receive an email requesting you to complete the survey electronically.   This will help to identify at-risk persons and direct them for proper testing.  Most of all, this will help reduce the risk of exposure when you come to visit us for an appointment.  Likewise, all our staff members will conduct a daily self-screening to determine if they are fit to come to work at our clinic.

Spacing Apart Appointments

Online booking has resumed and is available for your convenience.  In our scheduling, we have built in additional time to disinfect and clean surfaces between appointments.  This may result in less appointment slot available.

New Schedule

Dr. Kevin Ho’s schedule has changed.  Besides Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, he will now be available for appointments on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm!  Dr. Gayamali will now have office hours on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 2pm-7pm.

Should I Bring my own Mask?

You do not need to bring your own mask to an appointment.  We will provide you a new single-use procedure mask to wear for the duration of your appointment.   Upon leaving the clinic, you may discard the mask that was provided to you.  We do not recommend the use of a homemade face covering during an appointment.

Do not Arrive too Early

If you happen to arrive early for your appointment, please avoid sitting in the waiting room but consider waiting downstairs in the lobby or enjoy the weather outside to help reduce crowding in the waiting area.

Attend Appointments Alone

Lastly, please do not bring your spouse or a companion with you to your appointment unless you need assistance with getting to the clinic safely.   Also, parents or guardians can attend appointments with your children.

In-Clinic Precautions

When you return to the clinic for the first time, you’ll notice it’ll look a little different.  To keep you safe, we’ve taken these preventative measures:

  • Replaced all fabric chairs with non-fabric chairs for easy cleaning
  • Reduced the number of chairs and excessive furnishings
  • Hand Sanitizer will be available as you enter the clinic
  • Acrylic / plexiglass barriers are installed at our reception desk and in consultation rooms where appropriate.
  • Equipped with contact-less payment terminal to accept Debit and Credit Cards.  Interac E-transfer Payment is also accepted.
  • All treatment rooms & equipment is cleaned and disinfected before and after every client

What Can I Expect during my Appointment?

Safety First: Hygiene Practices

Prior to each in-person appointment, our staff will follow hygiene protocols including hand washing or hand sanitizing.  Our staff will also disinfect and clean chairs, treatment tables and any high touch areas before each appointment.

For the duration of your appointment our staff will don new & unused, personal protective equipment (PPE) including face mask, eye protection and gloves.

What about Physical Distancing?

We will maintain physical distancing during the consultation portion of the appointments. Whenever physical distancing is not possible our staff will ensure PPE is worn properly by you and our staff member.

If you have any questions about these recent changes, please do not hesitate to contact us by email or call at 647-931-8108.  We look forward to seeing you very soon.
